
Donald Perkey, 68, of Sidney, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born October 8, 1955, in Batesville, Arkansas to Conyard and Nona Marie Perkey. He was a cattle farmer and a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church. Donald enjoyed cattle farming, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, rodeos and time spent with his family and his grandchildren. He loved everyone and just enjoyed life!
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother-in-law, Richard Marchese.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karol Perkey of the home; his son, Robert Clint (Courtney) Perkey; his daughter, Chelsey (Cody) Haigwood; his brothers, Robert Perkey and Scottie Perkey (Brenda); his sister, Rhonda Marchese; seven grandchildren, Natalie, Mason, Bryor, Whitlie, Willow, Drake and Atlas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City.
Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Crooms, William Runyan, Mark French, Cody Haigwood, Michael Joe French, Bob Brown Jeremy Ratliff and all his former co-workers from White-Rodgers.
