Intimidator Group and The Toro Company Foundation have launched this year’s Greenspace Enhancement Grant Program, continuing their commitment to improving local landscapes.

According to a release from Intimidator, the program is open to nonprofits in Batesville and surrounding communities. It offers funding opportunities to rejuvenate and preserve outdoor spaces. Previous grants have supported projects like sustainable agriculture gardens, park renovations, and water conservation initiatives.

Last year, the Batesville School District used grant funds to develop a nature playscape for preschoolers, enriching environmental education.

Marnie Wells, president of The Toro Company Foundation, expressed enthusiasm for the program’s impact.

“We’re thrilled to continue our commitment to community enrichment through the Greenspace Enhancement Grant Program,” said Wells. “By empowering nonprofits in the areas where our employees live and work, we aim to cultivate sustainable outdoor spaces that will leave a lasting impact for generations to come.”

Nonprofits within 40 miles of Intimidator Group can apply by July 31st at 12 p.m.. Details and applications are available at thetorocompany.com/community-section.
