Delma Owens Sullivan Mooneyhan, 85, of Milan, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Delma was born in Stone County, Arkansas on September 7, 1938, to the late Willie and Adeline (Smith) Balentine. Delma was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. Delma also was involved in her community and taught Hunter’s Safety Education which she enjoyed. Delma will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Delma is survived by her daughters, Gail Branscum and Ginger Harrington and husband Greg; one sister, Bervie Lawrence and husband George; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and tons of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Delma is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Adeline (Smith) Balentine; brother, Hugh Balentine; husbands, Wayne Owens, Wayne Sullivan, and Gene Mooneyhan; one son, Tim Owens; granddaughter, Teresa Branscum; son-in-law, Terry Branscum; step-daughter, Pam Mooneyhan Barkley, and step-son, Chris Sullivan.
Visitation for Delma is Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 12:00-1:30 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Graveside services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 PM at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas with Brother Dave Campbell officiating.
Pallbearers are Eric Owens, Dan Owens, Jake Owens, Braden Sullivan, Tyler Sullivan, and Sam Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers are Eric Hunt and Randy Barkley.
