Darin “DJ” Kent Blevins Jr. of Batesville died on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the age of 34. Darin was born on May 21, 1989, in Newport, AR, to Trish Fuller and the late Darin Kent Blevins Sr, and was of Baptist faith. Darin loved to race. He raced go-carts and enjoyed everything about it. The thrill of the race, the excitement of winning (having won many trophies), and the people he met through racing, who became like family to him. Darin raced as #91 and wore his signature red and yellow proudly! He was known as the “Batesville Bad Boy” on the track and loved that nickname. As much as Darin loved to race, it was still second to how much he loved and adored his family. Darin was a loving father, husband, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend.  He cherished his wife and his children, and he was still a momma’s boy at heart. Darin was full of love. He loved life, loved racing, loved people, and loved his family! He will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed to know him.

Darin is preceded in death by his father, Darin Kent Blevins Sr.; his paternal grandparents, William Adrian Blevins and Veta Oveol Blevins; and his maternal grandparents, Junior Edward Fuller and Patricia Ann Fuller. He is survived by his loving wife, Jordan (Townsend) Blevins; his mother, Trish Fuller; his sons, Darin Kent Blevins III, Kinzer Kye Blevins (expecting), and Mason Boyett; his daughters, Addysen Bishop, Layken Blevins, and Harlen Blevins; his brother Cecil Calvin Blevins; his sisters, Kandy Reney Dowell (Kevin), and Jessica Lynn Blevins (Jason); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members (including his racing family), and friends.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. The funeral, officiated by Bro. Bob Dailey, will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 10 a.m., also at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville.
