Oregon man killed after vehicle overturns in Stone County

An Oregon man was killed Tuesday evening after his vehicle overturned on a state highway in Stone County.

According to the Arkansas State Police, Jimmy L. Small, 58, of Ashland, Oregon, died after his northbound Ford Econoline van left State Highway 236 near Fox, re-entered the roadway, and then overturned four times.

The state police report stated that the road was wet at the time of the accident, which occurred at 6:11 p.m. This accident marked the 193rd highway fatality in the state this year.
