First Community Bank recently hosted the 27th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, raising $30,000 for the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches.

Held at The Course at Eagle Mountain in Batesville, the event drew 120 golfers and garnered support from nearly 50 businesses through hole sponsorships and corporate donations. This year’s proceeds bring the total raised for the ranch to over $455,255, thanks to First Community Bank’s ongoing commitment to charitable events.

“First Community Bank has once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches through their generous support of our annual charity golf tournament,” said Matthew Cleveland, chief development officer of the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. “Their partnership and dedication to our cause have helped make this year’s event a tremendous success. We are deeply grateful for their continued support and the positive impact it has on the lives of the children and families we serve.”

Tournament sponsors included:

• Gold sponsors: Intimidator (lunch provider), Batesville Poultry (golf cart sponsor)

• Silver sponsors: George’s Liquor (adult beverages provider) and Mechanical Construction Services (MCS) (breakfast provider), Future Fuel (refresh station)

• Bronze sponsors: Stacy and Tony Gunderman (snacks provider) and White River Health System (drinks provider).

“The annual charity golf tournament in support of the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches has once again showcased the unwavering commitment of our community and participants,” said Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer for First Community Bank. “First Community Bank is honored to have been a part of this event, and we are thrilled with the success it has achieved. We are proud to support such a worthy cause and look forward to continuing our partnership with the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches in their mission to provide a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk youth.”
