
According to the Arkansas State Police, the suspect wanted in connection with homicides in Oklahoma has been taken into custody in Conway County. A press release from the Arkansas State Police is below:
FUGITIVE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
June 20, 2024
MORRILTON, Ark. — Morrilton Police Department, Arkansas State Police, and the Conway County Sheriff’s Office took Stacy Lee Drake, 50, into custody at about 10 a.m. in a wooded area south of the Morrilton intersection of University Boulevard and Poor Farm Road.
Drake was taken into custody without incident after a manhunt that began late Tuesday. The Arkansas National Guard and the Arkansas Division of Community Correction assisted in the search.
Drake is wanted in connection with homicides and carjackings in Oklahoma and is wanted on other felony warrants from multiple jurisdictions, with charges including aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder.
He is being held at the Conway County Detention Center. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
