Born June 9, 1959, to Clarence and Della Katherine Baker Jones, Charles Wayne Jones passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024.
He was a fighter and absolutely loved life to the fullest. He was always happy and brightened everyone’s day. He even said he had lived a good life. He loved his motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson that he bought after hitting the lottery, but he was a lucky guy as he hit the lottery not once, but twice!
He loved yard sales and was wheeling and dealing any chance he could. He was a pool shark and taught many people how to shoot pool. Most importantly, he loved his family. He loved the Lord and was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church.
He was married to the love of his life, Carolyn Jones, for 40 years. He was a loving father to Maisie Brady (Kyle). He was a brother to Larry Jones, Danny Jones (Lisa), and Kathy Cossey (Larry). He was the best papaw to Bryson Duncan (Katie), Aris Brady, and River Brady, and the coolest Uncle Charlie to many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one nephew, Bronson Scott.
Pallbearers are Larry Jones, Danny Jones, Kyle Brady, Bryson Duncan, Andrew Scott, and Cameron Scott.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with his dear friend and pastor, Curt Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from noon until service time.
