Rosemary Williams (pictured above, center, with Midland Elementary Principal Jessica Gilmer, left, and Citizens Bank’s Julie Warden), counselor at Midland Elementary, was named to receive the April “Citizens Bank Shine Like a Mustang Award.”
Citizens Bank said in a media release that, providing constant support and kindness, Rosemary is the ultimate team player for the elementary school. Her colleagues said:
- “She consistently goes above and beyond for her students, always providing unwavering support in numerous ways.”
- “Her kindness shines through in everything she does for the kids. She contributes significantly to the school, including organizing our food boxes.”
- “Rosemary is incredibly dedicated, always helping everyone. She ensures kids have the clothes they need and is a constant source of support for all of us.”
With this new program, Citizens Bank and Midland School District aim to recognize staff members who shine in their role as a Mustang to live out the district’s vision to engage learning at high levels and embrace challenges without fear of failure. Staff nominate the award recipients who receive a Certificate of Excellence, a $25 gift card, and a 16-ounce insulated cup from Citizens Bank. The award is presented at the Midland School Board meeting each month.
