Jerome “Jerry” William Lord, 90, of Timbo, Arkansas, passed away April 24, 2025. He was born on August 22, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, to Clyde R. Lord and Roselee (Crispe) Lord.

Jerry graduated from Timbo High School in 1953. Shortly after graduation, he began his career within the US Military. After serving 4 years in the United States Army, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he retired from in 1994.

Jerry was a devout Christian and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Timbo, Arkansas. He was often heard singing or humming an old hymn, reading his Bible or sharing the Gospel with others. He was a member of the Masons, the American Legion, the VFW and the Sons of the American Revolution. Always willing to help and lend a hand, Jerry left his mark on all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister-in-law, Janette (Jan) Lord of Timbo. Jerry had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, his church family and his dear friends who will greatly miss his smile and his knack for making them laugh.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Clyde and stepmother, Loretta Lord; his mother, Roselee Lord; older twin brothers, Daniel C. Lord and Donald R. Lord; and his identical twin, James E. Lord and the love of his life, his wife, Kim Wonnyo Lord.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, at Calvary Baptist Church in Timbo, Arkansas. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 am, with Brother Danny Robbins officiating. Interment will take place at Blue Mountain Cemetery in Timbo, Arkansas. Full military honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force.

Pallbearers will be the United States Air Force.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
