Obituary: Darrell Jarrett Richardson

Darrell Jarrett Richardson, 80, passed away on April 30, 2025, in Batesville, AR. He was born on September 30, 1944, in Wild Cherry, Arkansas to the late James Cecil Richardson and Audie Mae (Wayland) Richardson. Darrell was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church since he was sixteen years old. He enjoyed going to auctions and watching the Create TV channel and old westerns on TV. He also liked being outside, whether it was farming, fishing, or hunting. Darrell was a handyman who could fix anything and was always one phone call away, ready to help someone in need. Above all else, he loved his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Darrell is survived by his wife of fifty-three and a half years, Brenda (Cameron) Richardson;  son, James Richardson; daughters, Michelle Zehr (Allan), Rachael Butcher (David), Micah Richardson, and Courtney Leppe (Louis); grandchildren, Nicholas Zehr, Cassandra Zehr, Dylan Zehr, Aidan Zehr, Alexander Zehr, Nikita Baker, Kaylee Holland, Nathan Butcher, Ashlyn Butcher, Gabriel Butcher, Elijah Butcher, Noah Richardson, Pacific Durham, Kaitlyn Leppe, Hurricane Leppe, and Edith Leppe; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Richardson, Asher Holland, Maci Baker, Aubrey Baker, and Judith Durham; and sisters, Judy White and Kathy. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, David Dewitt.
