
BRANSON, Mo. — NADT Dance Academy captured multiple awards, including a first-place overall finish, at the StarQuest Dance Competition held here over the weekend of May 2.
The non-profit performing company received a studio award recognizing them as “Well Rounded in Multiple Genres” after presenting performances across seven dance styles during the competition.
NADT’s “Spanish Suite” earned top honors by winning first place overall. The performance also received a judges’ special award for being “Barcelona Bound.”
The academy’s competition team, comprising company members specifically brought to perform “Spanish Suite,” represented the dance school at the Branson event.
Audiences can see these award-winning dancers and others perform in NADT’s annual spring recital, “Little Red Riding Hood.” Performances are scheduled for May 17 in Mountain View, May 23 in Melbourne, and May 30-31 in Batesville. Tickets will be available at the door.
