
Deborah Elois (Ramey) Corley peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on January 4, 1962, in Batesville, Arkansas, Deborah was the beloved daughter of the late DeLois Ramey.
Deborah accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Batesville. Her faith remained a cornerstone of her life, guiding her in all that she did.
Deborah had a love for life that radiated through her gentle spirit and kind heart. She especially enjoyed traveling and taking peaceful drives through the countryside. Watching her husband tend to the garden brought her quiet joy. She loved hosting and attending family and friend gatherings, where her laughter and presence were always a highlight. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family, who were the center of her world.
She was preceded in death by her mother, DeLois Ramey; her sister, Cleatrice Brown; her sister-in-law, Wendy Strong; her nephew, Klyan Bradley; her father-in-law, Clifton Corley; her mother-in-law, Lucy Corley; and her brother-in-law, Marcus Corley.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 43 years, Geino Corley Sr.; her three beloved children: Debra Gene Corley, Geino Corley Jr., and Demarcus Corley; and six cherished grandchildren: Darmail Wren, Valarie Wren, Shiekenya Wren, Emmoni Baker, Alonzo Baker, and Destiny Corley.
She is also survived by her sister, Carla Neal of Sherwood, Arkansas; five brothers: Eddie Brown (Carolyn) of Batesville, Arkansas, Billy Strong of Groton, Connecticut, Charles Strong (Victoria) of Tampa, Florida, Lee Ramey of Batesville, Arkansas, and Ronald Ramey of Batesville, Arkansas.
In addition, she leaves behind eight sisters-in-law: Sabrina Thomas (Vince), Casandra Bailey (Otis), Becky Reynolds (Jerry), Janet Beasley, Sharon Martin (William), Stephanie Corley, Donna Clark (Hermon), and Sonya Paige; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Deborah will be remembered for her unwavering love, her warm spirit, and the joy she brought into the lives of everyone who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
There will be a visitation held at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on May 10, 2025, from 10 AM until 11 AM. The funeral service, officiated by Reverand Bland, will begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville, AR.
