The North Arkansas Dance Theatre (NADT) Dance Academy will present a family-friendly performance, “Little Red,” this week as part of a fundraiser for the nonprofit arts organization.
The show is a creative retelling of the classic fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood. It follows the character’s journey through the woods to her grandmother’s house. Along the way, she helps strangers, makes new friends, and encounters the Big Bad Wolf.
The performance features local students from the NADT Dance Academy in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop.
Shows are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, at Southside High School. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets and merchandise will be available at the door.
