Batesville-based Citizens Bank announced in a press release Monday that it has launched a full-service mortgage division aimed at providing personalized home financing support using new technology.
Citizens Bank Mortgage is designed to guide customers through the mortgage process with the assistance of experienced specialists and digital tools. The bank said the move aligns with growing national demand, as total mortgage origination volume is projected to rise to $2.3 trillion in 2025 from $1.79 trillion in 2024.
“Launching Citizens Bank Mortgage is a natural extension of our People First philosophy,” said Jeff Teague, CEO of Citizens Bank. “Our goal is to simplify the home buying process, making it more accessible and less intimidating for our customers.”
According to the release, the new division offers several features, including mobile loan applications, loan pre-qualification from smartphones, and a “Close with Confidence” program. Under the program, eligible borrowers may refinance their loan with no additional origination fees if interest rates drop within 12 months of closing.
The bank also noted that the launch comes as artificial intelligence and digital platforms reshape the mortgage industry by improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
“‘Let’s Get You Home’ is more than just a tagline; it’s our commitment to providing comprehensive financial solutions under one roof,” said Vernon Scott, president and chief lending officer at Citizens Bank. “By integrating mortgage services with our existing offerings, we aim to be the trusted partner our customers can rely on for all their financial needs.”
Citizens Bank is headquartered in Batesville and serves communities across Arkansas.
