Authorities searching for escaped inmate Grant Hardin have released an updated headshot they believe may reflect his current appearance, as the manhunt enters its second week.
The Arkansas Department of Corrections unveiled the revised wanted poster Tuesday (see below), urging the public to examine it closely and report any possible sightings. The photo (above) is intended to help residents and law enforcement identify Hardin, whose appearance may have changed since he escaped from the North Central Unit in Calico Rock more than a week ago.
In addition, the U.S. Marshals Service has added $5,000 to the FBI’s previously announced $20,000 reward for information leading to Hardin’s capture, bringing the total to $25,000.
Authorities continue to focus search efforts in north central Arkansas and investigate tips as they come in. Hardin is considered dangerous, and officials ask the public not to approach him.
Anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
