
Bobbi Ann (Bradley) Cheshier of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 56. She was born October 5, 1968, in Newport, the daughter of Bobby R. “Bob” and Sherry Ann (Hinkle) Bradley.
Bobbi Ann was a 1987 graduate of Newport High School. She attended Arkansas State University for two years, majoring in business and finance.
Bobbi Ann’s Dad, Bob, became her coach as soon as she could roll a ball. That coaching led her to a great love of softball and bowling. Bob coached her in the Newport softball league from the time she was seven until she was eighteen. Bobbi Ann also developed a great love for bowling. She won the Arkansas state Coca-Cola championship and placed seventh out of fifty states.
Throughout her career, she had worked as a United States postal carrier, in management at Dollar Tree, she worked in the finance department at Baldwin Ford in Jonesboro, Lakeside Chevrolet, and Joe Taylor Ford in Newport.
Bobbi Ann’s greatest love was her children, and she dedicated many hours serving on the Montessori board, PTO, and coaching cheer. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Bobbi Ann was brought up in the church and was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her husband of eleven years, Steven Cheshier of Newport; one son, Matt Long of Newport; one daughter, Jessa Long of Newport; one stepson, Steven Cheshier of Newport; one step daughter, Stephanie Simmons of Newport; one brother, Jon Bradley and wife, Leanne, of Newport; three grandchildren, Denver Cowell, Mason Simmons, and McKinley Simmons; and a lifetime of friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Matt Long, Cooper Bradley, Keegan Harrison, Nick Nicholson, R. J. Simmons, and Cody Cowell.
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Gracelawn Cemetery.
