Christy Dawn Williford, age 57, of Rosie, Arkansas, passed away on June 20, 2025. She was born on February 4, 1968, in Batesville, Arkansas.

Christy dedicated her career to public service as a Deputy Assessor at the Independence County Assessor’s Office. She was a devoted member of Maple Springs Baptist Church, where her love for worship and fellowship was well known.

Christy had a passion for the outdoors and cherished time spent fishing, camping, and enjoying bonfires with her loved ones. She loved to sing and was happiest when surrounded by family and her church community.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Colton Williford; her father-in-law, James “Bozo” Williford; her mother-in-law, Patricia Williford; and her grandparents, Maydene and Alfred Young.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 37 years, Andy Williford; her son, Bryson (Katelyn) Williford; her daughter, Heather (Chad) Connell; and her treasured grandchildren, Zaiden Barnes, Kolten Cox, and Ryder Connell. She is also survived by her sisters, Michelle (Calvin) Salter and Wendy (Perry) Meeks; and several nieces and nephews: Taylor (Cody) Medler, Morgan (Evan) Hale, Oakley Medler, Kace Gee, Samantha (Paul) Johnson, Tyler (Canessa) Meeks, Gracie, McKenzie, Landon, Claire, and Rylie.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Maple Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Curt Howard officiating. Visitation will take place before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery.

The Pallbearers will be Tyler Meeks, Jackson Barber, Paul Johnson, Marty Williford, Adam Adair, and Nick Adair.

The Honorary pallbearers are Maple Springs Baptist Church family, Zaiden Barnes and Kolten Cox.

Christy will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family and faith. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
