Obituary: Ronald Lee Holcomb

Ronald Lee Holcomb of Fifty Six, Ark., was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Little Rock, Ark. He died July 5, 2025, at Batesville, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Holcomb, and his mother, Nina May Holcomb.

His surviving relatives are brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Cathy Holcomb of Mayflower, Ark., nephew Tommy Holcomb and his wife Cathy of Las Vegas, Nev., niece Gloria R. Grinder and her husband Freeman of Maumelle, Ark.; great-niece Kelly Freeman and her husband Jack of Ward, Ark., great-niece Haley West and her husband Marcus of Bauxite, Ark., and great-niece Shelby Hernandez of Maumelle, Ark.

Ronald was a 1966 graduate of Central High School of Little Rock.

Ronald had many occupations and was very good at all of them. He was truly a Jack-of-all-Trades. He worked in shoe sales, car sales, building supply sales, hotel maintenance, school building maintenance, motorcycle
parts sales, and home construction. In 2005, he semi-retired to Fifty Six, but continued to do construction jobs, both for pay and volunteer. His hobbies were drag racing and show cars.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cirrhosis of Liver Charities.
