Espirita Esoen Hoosier, 78, passed away on July 30, 2025, in Batesville, AR. She was born on May 14, 1947, in Wawa Pilar Bataan, Philippines to the late Pablo Esoen and Carolina Catagin. Espirita was a dedicated Navy dependent for twenty-three years. She loved to work, loved life, and her family. She also enjoyed going to the casino and they went at least once a month.
Espirita is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Thomas Hoosier; daughters, Grace Hong and Rosemari Lumba of Taiwan; nephew, Nelson Carter of San Diego, CA; brothers, Pete Hoosier, John Hoosier, Robert Hoosier, Bill Hoosier, and Curtis Hoosier; and sisters, Joann Hoosier and Mary Hoosier. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Saturnina Davis and brother-in-law, Edward Davis.
