Edna Geraldine Copeland, 91, of Pleasant Grove, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Geraldine was born on October 18, 1933, in Ben, Arkansas, to Don and Beulah (Leonard) York. She was a Christian of the Baptist Faith.
Geraldine married Junior ”Bob” Copeland on October 21, 1952. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She worked for and retired from K-Mart after 28 years of service. She enjoyed country music, gospel music, Saturday night dances at the Folklore, putting puzzles together and watching music programs on RFD. In other words…she loved music.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Beulah York; her husband, Bob Copeland; her sister, Genevieve; and her son-in-law, Michael Cox.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Cox of Pleasant Grove; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Padden) Nelson of Houston, Texas and Brian Cox of Longview, Texas; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
