John “Buddy” Eldridge, 65, of Cave City, passed away August 8, 2025, in Searcy. He was born on November 23, 1959, in Flint, Michigan, to John C. and Georgetta (Henry) Eldridge.
He attended UACCB Community College in Batesville, was a retired over-the-road truck driver, and a member of the Methodist Church.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, wood crafts such as building park benches, porch swings, and sitting on the back porch with his family listening to old country music.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lavon “Bibi” Eldridge of Des Arc.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Penny Eldridge of the home; son, Kevin Engles of Batesville; brothers, Jimmy and Gary Eldridge, both of Des Arc; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
