Donnie Dean Corter, age 65, of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 24, 1960, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to William and Katherine (Burgess) Corter.
Donnie was a Christian and of the Pentecostal faith. A hardworking man, he devoted over 35 years of his life to Turner Sawmill, always providing for his family. He loved deeply and brought joy to those around him with his humor and warm heart. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply spending time with his family—especially his beloved grandchildren—Donnie found happiness in the simple things. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Katherine Corter; one son, Zachary Corter; and two brothers, Lonnie Corter and William Corter.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 23 years, Sabrina Corter; nine children: Michael (Brittany) Blankenship, Donna (Randy) Rorie, Albert (Kelley) Corter, Ida (Nick) Pearson, James Thompson, Rebecca, Christopher, and Lonnie Corter. Donnie is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many cherished friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Brother James Cain.
