Finis Dene Allen of Oil Trough, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born September 20, 1940, the son of William Luther Allen and Mary Bell Barber
Mr. Allen was a graduate of Oil Trough High School and a member of the Oil Trough Church of Christ. He worked in the factory at Victor Metal for several years until his retirement. Mr. Allen always lent a helping hand to anyone in need and was also a volunteer fireman for the City of Oil Trough.
Mr. Allen married the love of his life, Miss Carole Waddill, on November 30, 1963, and they began making a beautiful life for themselves. Mr. Allen enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved spending time with his dog, Levi, whom he took everywhere with him.
Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his wife, Carole Allen; three brothers, Johnny Allen, Jerrel Wayne Allen, and Billy Allen; and his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Laurie Sepulvador and husband, Mark, of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Chase Allen Supulvador and wife, Lauren, and Ashley Morgan Sepulvador; and his nieces and nephews, Johnny Trumna, Scott Allen, Teresa Allen Barnes, Sherry Fulton, and Janet Allen St. Romain.
Funeral services for Mr. Allen will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Church of Christ at Oil Trough, with Mr. Laddie Barber officiating. Interment will be in Maple Springs Cemetery. Friends may visit at Jackson’s Funeral Home on Thursday evening, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
