
Mary Eva (English) Perrin of Strawberry, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born on May 26, 1932, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Jared Monroe and Hazel Louise (Irwin) English.
Mrs. Perrin was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and gardening, and especially loved taking care of her children.
Mrs. Perrin was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon G. Perrin; one son, John Robert Durbin, Sr.; three daughters, Debra Pico, Ruth Marshall, and Margie Bumpous; two brothers, Bill English and Jared English; two sisters, Jennie Schofield and Betty Parsons; some grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her parents.
She is survived by one son, Joe Durbin of Rogers, Arkansas; two daughters, Mary Jowers of Park Hill, Oklahoma, and Jerrie Dobrzeniecki of Greers Ferry; one brother, Jim English and wife, Nancy of Danville, Indiana; three sisters, Hazel Riddle of Maplewood, Indiana, Jerry Lou Wallace of New Port Richie, Florida, and Anne Ruth Werner of Indianapolis, Indiana; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
The family will be conducting a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 16, at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church, with burial at Stranger’s Home Cemetery.
