
Betty Jean Crutcher, 92, of Rosie, passed away August 18, 2025, at Batesville. She was born December 28, 1932, at Rosie to J.M. Hooper and Pixie (Tucker) Hooper. She was a retired Circuit Clerk of Independence County and a member of the Rosie Baptist Church.
She enjoyed bingo (was lovingly known as Bingo Betty), church, feeding hummingbirds, grandkids and cooking out for the family. Betty loved the Senior Citizens Center at Oil Trough and she always had a sharing heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Crutcher; two brothers, JD Hooper and LJ “Joe” Hooper; sister, Dorris Martin and daughter-in-law, Jamie Crutcher.
Survivors include son, Keith Crutcher; daughter, Martha Fleming; two grandchildren, Kylie Crutcher and Drew Fleming (Ashley); two great-grandchildren, Ella Howell and Hayden Howell.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Rosie Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Home Chapel.
