Jennette June Duke was born in Sidney, Arkansas, and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1961. On May 26, 1961, she married Harley Duke, and together they raised two sons, Gavin and Burton.

She spent most of her life in Batesville, Arkansas, where she worked as a Child Support Officer and later as a Legal Assistant with the Steve Bell Law Office. Jennette was a devoted member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

She had a love for travel, especially trips to Estes Park, Colorado, with her sister and friends. Family was the heart of her life—she treasured holidays, reunions, and time spent with her brothers, sisters, and extended family. She deeply loved her daughter-in-law, Lorie, and adored her granddaughter, Poppy.

Jennette was known in her community for her kindness, warmth, and radiant smile, which remained with her even in her final days.

She is now safely in the arms of God, reunited with loved ones who went before her, including her husband Harley, her son Burton, her parents, and her brothers and sister.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Cave City Nursing Home for their love and care, as well as to Legacy Hospice for their support.

A memorial service is being planned, and details will be shared soon.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Homes.
