Eddy Roger Vinson, 71, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away on September 16, 2025, at Stone County Medical Center. He was born on October 15, 1953, in Pangburn, Arkansas, to Elmer R. and Ethel M. (Osburn) Vinson.
Eddy was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, and spending time on his side-by-side and four-wheeler. He also loved playing pool. Most of all, Eddy cherished time spent with his family. He deeply loved his children and grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Ethel Vinson; and six siblings: James Vinson, Bobbie Vinson, Sue Thomas, Peggy Morris, Joe Vinson, and Jerry Vinson.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Diane Vinson; his daughter, Amber Swain of Vilonia, Arkansas; and three stepchildren: Teresa James of Branson, Missouri; Lance (Melissa) Bonds of Mountain View, Arkansas; and Dena Bonds of Fox, Arkansas. He is also survived by one brother, Danny Vinson of Pangburn, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Brother Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Interment will take place at Levisy Flat Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Destry Gill, Jake Gill, Lance Bonds, Greg Vannatter, Chris Kent, and Michael Patrick.
Honorary Pallbearers are Coleman Rodgers, Keaden Gill, Brandon Bonds, Tyler Bonds, Brad Anderson, and Jonathon James.
Arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
