James Tracy Jones, 50, of Poughkeepsie, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Little Rock. He was born September 15, 1975, at Batesville to James Scott and Deanna (Parvin) Jones. He worked for Premiere Poultry and was a member of the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie. He was a loving father, son, brother, and disciple of Jesus Christ.
Tracy loved preaching the gospel, spending time with his family (especially his new grandbaby, Hattie Kay), hunting, fishing, and everything concerning horses.
He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Misty (McConnell) Jones of the home; sons, Curtis Scott Jones (Lauren), Jacob Paul Jones (Rylie Trivitt), Levi Ellis Jones (Baylee McSpadden); his mother, Deanna Jones; brothers, Allen Jones (Rhonda), Randy Jones (Vickie), Stacy Jones (Reena); sister, Cindy Duncan (James); one grandchild, Hattie Kay Jones, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Lewallen and Bro. Boyce Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery located in Poughkeepsie.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Philip Duncan, Jared Jones, Wyatt Jones, Garrett Duncan, Tyler Booth, Will Jones, Garrett McSpadden, Chance Arender, and Cody O’Brien.
Honorary Pallbearers are his great nephews, Gus Jones, Wade Jones, Noah Jones, Max McSpadden, and Miles McSpadden.
