Sherry Lynne Reed, 74, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Batesville, AR. She was born on November 30, 1950, in Warrensburg, MO, to the late James Afred Wilson and Opal (Ahart) Wilson. Sherry enjoyed yard sales and bargaining, playing bingo, going to the casino, frogs, baking, and decorating for the holidays. Her collection of nutcrackers and cookie jars could be a gallery. She loved shooting the bull and having fun with her family and friends, and spending time with her dog, Booger. Sherry was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.
Sherry is survived by her son, Tommy Reed SR (Bonnie) of Floral; grandchildren, Brianna, Taylor, Tommy III, and Whitney (Dalton), all of Southside and Tommy Jr. (Holly) of Iowa; great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Paigelynne, Braxley and Hazleigh, all of Southside and Kash, Kingston, and Kendrick, all of Iowa; brother, Jimmy Dale Wilson of Warrensburg, MO; step-sister, Vivian Gray of Cole Camp, MO; sister-in-law and best friend, Lynn Wilson of Warrensburg, MO; one niece; two nephews; five great-nephews; three great-nieces; and one great-great nephew of Warrensburg, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Larry Wilson, and her sister-in-law, Patricia Wilson.
A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
