Drivers in Independence County should be aware that a section of Cold Creek Road, which is off Sandtown Road, will be closed for bridge repairs in the coming weeks.
County Judge Kevin Jeffery announced Monday that the south end of Cold Creek Road will be shut down while work is completed on the Barnett Creek bridge, just north of Sandy Lane. The closure is expected to last several weeks.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience to the citizenry as we make needed repairs that ensure public safety,” Jeffery said in a statement.
