Barbara Wheeless, 71, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
She was born on December 31, 1953, to Isaac and Gladys (Null) Cannon.
Barbara was the sole proprietor of Barbara’s Hair Design in Arlington, Texas. She enjoyed dancing, music, and fashion. She loved many things, nothing more than her family.
She is survived by her husband, David Wheeless; two sons, Christopher and Shane Lewis; five grandkids, Alley Smith, Fallon Lewis, Taylor Malone, Shelby Lewis, and Christian Lewis; six great-grandkids, Creedence Smith, Hendrix Smith, Madigan Halpaine, Ripley Lewis, Judson Henderson, and Jovi Malone; one brother, Paul Cannon, and one sister, Evelyn Sneed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Joe Cannon and Terry Cannon, and two sisters, Esther Woodard and Ruby Faye Brown.
Pallbearers are Chris Lewis, Shane Lewis, David Wheeless, Christian Lewis, Zach Malone, and Shandy Cannon.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Macedonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.
