Two people were killed in separate crashes on consecutive days along Arkansas highways, according to preliminary reports from the Arkansas State Police.
On Saturday morning, Russell Clark Schuh, 67, of Mammoth Spring, died when his Kia Borrego left U.S. Highway 63 in Mammoth Spring, overturned, and struck a fence around 10 a.m., troopers said.
The following day, Lillian Caraway, 20, of Waldenburg, was fatally injured in a crash on Highway 163 in Harrisburg around noon Sunday. Investigators said her GMC Yukon ran off the right side of the road, hit a signpost and a tree, and caught fire after coming to rest.
Caraway was taken to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, where she later died of her injuries.
