Authorities are searching for a person of interest in connection with the deaths of two women whose bodies were discovered Oct. 21 at one of the victims’ homes in the Fulton County community of Agnos, according to the Spring River Chronicle.

The Arkansas State Police identified the person of interest as 32-year-old Jacob Lowell J. Smith of Smithville (Correction: ASP officials note Smith is from Ash Flat). Smith, who has a warrant for absconding, is described as white, 6-foot-2, 165 pounds, with facial tattoos and a bow tie tattoo on his neck. Police said he may be armed and dangerous.

Investigators believe Smith is traveling in a stolen red 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup with Arkansas license plate BEH93R. Two firearms were also reported stolen from the scene.

The victims’ identities have not been released pending official confirmation, and their bodies were sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for autopsy. Authorities urge anyone who spots Smith to call police immediately and avoid approaching him.
