Elaine K. Gottschalk, 71, of Cave City, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Melbourne. She was born March 9, 1954, in Clinton, Iowa, to Earl and Beverly (Koch) Huebner. She was an Insurance Agent and a member of the Hope Lutheran Church of Batesville. Elaine enjoyed drawing, crafts, and singing, especially in the church choir for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roger Hubner and Brad Huebner; two sisters, Mary Goddard and Rhonda Bailey.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Dennis Gottschalk; one son, Kyton Gottschalk; three daughters, Tawn Gottschalk, Lorri Cartwright, and Elizabeth Cohnaur; one sister, Nancy Ghizzone; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
