LaVerne Geiger VanDorn, 92, passed away on October 28, 2025, in Ash Flat, AR. She was born on April 29, 1933, in Georgia to the late Ellis Rudolph Geiger and Beadie (Perry) Geiger. LaVerne enjoyed crocheting and attending church when she was able. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. LaVerne was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
LaVerne is survived by her daughter, Kathy Mount (Terry); grandchildren, Terry Mount Jr. (Jennifer) and Ann Rector (Trenton); great-grandchildren, Kyle Mount and Benjamin Mount; brother, Franklin Geiger (Delberta); sisters, Francis Nuske (Owen) and Bonnie Heitsman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Sullian and Nada Geiger; and brother, Ellis Geiger Jr.
