Obituary: Vada Faye Henley

Vada Faye Henley, 91, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025.

She was born December 30, 1933, in Charlotte, Arkansas, to Alvis William Henley and Ruby Pearl Ball Henley.

Vada loved the Lord and was a member of Antioch Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible. Vada was also an avid Razorbacks fan.

Survivors include her four brothers, Don Henley of Cave City, Melvin ”Pete” Henley of Charlotte, Bud Henley (Phyllis) of Prairie Grove, and Troy Henley (Allene) of Charlotte; four sisters, Juanita Henley of Charlotte, Clara Henley of Charlotte, Katherine Crigler (Murvelee) of Cord, and Linda Cash of Newark; sister-in-law, Margaret Henley of Batesville; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Alvis ”Bob” Henley, Wayne Henley, JB Henley, and Ronnie Henley; and two sisters, Geraldine James and Glendene Johnson.

Pallbearers are Calvin Crigler, Kenneth James, Andy Crigler, Chris Cash, Mark Henley, Rusty Henley, Scott Henley, and Dusty Henley. Honorary pallbearers will be her loving nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 31, 2025, at Antioch Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville. Burial will be private.
