Rudy Fernando Ruiz Soto, de 56 años y residente de Batesville, Arkansas, falleció el Miércoles 5 de Noviembre de 2025. Rudy nació el 12 de Septiembre de 1969 en Chimaltenango, Pochuta, Guatemala, hijo de los fallecidos Antonio Jesús Ruiz Natareno y Berta Soto Ortiz. Era católico. Rudy amaba su cultura hispana y estaba muy orgulloso de su herencia. Le encantaba la música, especialmente los ritmos de Marimba Internacional.
Rudy le tenía mucho cariño a su apodo “Tuneca” que proviene de su banda favorita, “Alma Tuneca”. También le apasionaba el fútbol. Incluso apoyaba al equipo San Eduardo Pochuta. De entre todas sus pasiones, nada significaba más para él que su familia. ¡Rudy estaba especialmente orgulloso de ser abuelo! Siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a los demás y nunca pedía nada a cambio. Era una persona alegre, amigable y muy vivaz. Será profundamente extrañado por todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo y amarlo. A Rudy le precedieron en la muerte sus padres; su hermano, Daniel Ruiz; su hermana, Leticia Ruiz; y su hijo, Rudy Fernando Ruiz Ochoa. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Haniel Ochoa y Yudel Ochoa; su hija, Linda Rubi Ruiz Ochoa; sus hermanos, Jesús Ruiz, Arnulfo Ruiz, Enrique Ruiz y Fredy Ruiz; sus nietos, Marisol S. Salas, Brandon Ochoa, Bryan F. Ochoa, Jazmín Ochoa, Yadelin Ochoa y Alejandro Ochoa; además de sobrinos, sobrinas, demás familiares y amigos.
Los servicios funerarios están a cargo de la Funeraria Willis de Batesville, Arkansas. El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 13 de noviembre de 2025 en la capilla de la Funeraria Willis de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. El funeral se realizará el viernes 14 de noviembre de 2025 en la capilla de la Funeraria Willis a las 3:00 p.m

Rudy Fernando Ruiz Soto, 56, of Batesville, AR, died on Wednesday. November 5, 2025. Rudy was born on September 12, 1969, in Chimaletenango, Pochuta, Guatemala, to the late Antonio Jesus Ruiz Natareno and Berta Soto Ortiz. He was of Catholic faith. Rudy loved his Hispanic culture and was very proud of his heritage. He loved music, especially the cultural sounds of Marimba International. Rudy was very fond of his nickname “Tuneca”, which comes from his favorite band, “Alma Tuneca”. He also loved soccer. He even supported a soccer team, San Eduardo Pochuta. Out of all his hippies and passions, nothing meant more to him than his family. Rudy was especially proud to be a grandpa! Rudy was always ready to help others and never asked for anything in return. He was always happy, friendly, and a very lively person. He will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Rudy is preceded in death by both parents; his brother, Daniel Ruiz; his sister, Leticia Ruiz; and his son, Rudy Fernando Ruiz Ochoa. He is survived by his sons, Haniel Ochoa and Yudel Ochoa; his daughter, Linda Rubi Ruiz Ochoa; his brothers, Jesus Ruiz, Arnulfo Ruiz, Enrique Ruiz, and Fredy Ruiz; his grandchildren, Marisol S. Salas, Brandon Ochoa, Bryan F. Ochoa, Jazmin Ochoa, Yadelin Ochoa, and Alejandro Ochua; several neices, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel from 6 PM until 8 PM. To honor “Tuneca” at the visitation, the family requests that everyone wear a jersey of their favorite sports team, if possible. The funeral service will be on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel at 3 PM
