Cindy Jane Cathey, age 67, of Rosie, Arkansas, passed from this life on November 13, 2025. Born on April 4, 1958, in Newport, Arkansas, Cindy was the beloved daughter of George and Laverne (Collom) Cathey. She was a devoted member of the White River Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Cindy dedicated many years of service working at Riceland Foods in Newport. Her colleagues remember her for her hard work, warm smile, and genuine friendship.
In her free time, Cindy found joy in simple pleasures. She loved watching Austin Reaves on television, sharing laughter and stories with her family, and cherishing every moment spent with her nieces and nephews—Piper, Mason, and Millie. She was always the loving mother figure to everyone and was like a second mother to Haley and Cameron. Her loyal dog, Bella, was always by her side, bringing comfort and companionship.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, George and Laverne Cathey; her brother, Jimmy Cathey; and her sister, Lisa Mitchell. Her memory will be lovingly carried forward by those who survive her: her husband, Jimmy Williford of Rosie; her sons, Matt Cathey of Oil Trough and Jesse Williford (Stephanie) of Newport; and her brother, Greg Cathey of Oil Trough. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will forever miss her gentle spirit, loving heart, and unwavering support.
Cindy’s legacy is one of love, faith, and generosity. Her presence brightened every room, and her caring nature touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with brother Jeff Rutledge officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at Maple Springs Cemetery.
