Michael Lee Glenn, 56, of Mountain View, Arkansas, was born in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. He passed away peacefully at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas, with his sons and daughter-in-law by his side. He lived honestly, worked hard, and loved with everything he had.
Michael was the son of Troy Glenn and the late Judy Glenn. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Agatha Glenn, and Leroy Wrinkle and Bonnie Bridgeman.
He is survived by his father, Troy Glenn; and his two sons, whom he was endlessly proud of: Jamin Glenn of Mountain View, and Jamin’s children—Gracie, Landon, and Brycin; and Jeremy Glenn and his wife Misty of Mountain View, and their children—Haisley, Austin, and Waylon.
Michael is also survived by his sister, Regina Winkle, and her husband, Bryan Winkle; their daughters, Sarah Winkle and Nickala Love, and her husband, Anthony, along with their children, Dryden and Cashten.
He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
Michael loved his family deeply and cherished every minute spent with them. He was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing. He was also a gifted athlete and was recently honored by Mountain View High School with an induction into the Hall of Fame for his outstanding accomplishments in football and track. He still holds the 1985 and 1987 track records, including his remarkable 200m time of 22.7 seconds—a testament to his determination, natural ability, and grit.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 6–8 p.m. at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel.
Special Thanks
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the ICU team at St. Bernard’s Hospital for the extraordinary compassion and care shown to Michael during his final days—especially the nurses who treated him with such gentleness, and Dr. James Maxwell and APRN Lark Montgomery, whose dedication and kindness brought comfort and peace when it was needed most.
Closing Remarks
Michael’s presence was larger than life—steady, loyal, and full of quiet strength. Though his absence leaves an ache no words can fill, the love he poured into his family and the memories he created will remain forever. Those who knew him will carry his laughter, his lessons, and his unwavering devotion in their hearts always. His story lives on in the people he loved most.
