Mr. Junior Laden, 79, of Harrisburg departed this life on Tuesday ~ November 25, at Ridge River Rehabilitation in Wynne, Arkansas. He was born February 28, 1946 in Etowah, AR the son of Luther and Pearl (Harvey) Laden. His parents preceded him in death and his wife Janet (Freishour) Laden preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death, is one daughter: Melissa Cantrell, six brothers: Bill, Othe, Danny, Freddy, Bobbie and George Laden, and three sisters: Isolene Laden, Kathy Tyler and Lillie Prince. He enjoyed gardening and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Junior served in the US Army from 1967 to 1968 and was Honorably discharged. Junior is survived by one son: Chad Laden of Harrisburg, two daughters: Phoebe (Ronnie) Raines of Jonesboro and Misty Barnes of Harrisburg, and two brothers: Jimmy (Cheryl) Laden of Lepanto, Ricky (Ramona) Laden of Lepanto, and two sisters: Mary (Jimmy) Russell of Etowah, and Linda Mills of Florence, Alabama, eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 P.M. the chapel, Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
