
Lee Neil Bowers Kever, 89, of Batesville, passed away December 7, 2025, in Batesville. She was born April 28, 1936, also in Batesville. Her parents were William Bowers and Ollie Mae (Matthews) Bowers. She and O.B. had a farm raising cattle and chickens and she was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching movies, the Razorbacks, her grandkids, and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, O.B. Kever, Jr.; eight brothers, Walter Lewis Bowers, Roy Bowers, Carl Bowers, Robert Bowers, William Dial “Rooster” Bowers, Fred Bowers, Harry Bowers, and James Lawrence Bowers; and one sister, Edith Mae Bowers Krumholz.
Survivors include one son, O.B. Kever III (Shannan); one daughter, Judy Merrill (Joe); three grandchildren: Josie Merrill, Wynston Kever, and Braden Jones.
The visitation will be at Qualls Batesville Funeral Home on Thursday, December 19, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The funeral will be on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Landers is officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery located at Wolf Bayou.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bowers, Glenn Bowers Jr., Scott Bowers, Stephen Painter, Braden Jones, and O.B. Kever III. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Merrill, Wynston Kever, Clyde Bullard and Tommy Tucker.
