Willadean “Billie” Lowrance, 97, of Fox, Arkansas, passed away on December 26, 2025, at the Blossoms Nursing Home in Mountain View. She was born on November 9, 1928, in Petersburg, Indiana, to Albert Harold and Dossie Myrtle (Rutherford) Smith.

Billie was a Christian of the Baptist faith and attended Antioch General Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly, and spending time with them was very important to her. She enjoyed quilting and made beautiful masterpieces for all of her grandchildren. She also loved sewing, gardening—especially caring for her flowers—and making personalized cards for any occasion. It was amazing how she could work a computer at her age. Billie was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dossie Smith, and her husband, Roy Lowrance.
Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Denese (Gary) Zack of St. Louis, Missouri, and Alan (Jill) Lowrance of Winona Lake, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Katherine Valenta of Atlanta, Georgia, Andrew Zack of St. Louis, Missouri, Aaron Lowrance of Chicago, Illinois, Justin Lowrance of Bay Minette, Alabama, Brian Lowrance of Winona Lake, Indiana, Steven Lowrance of Warsaw, Indiana, and Daniel Lowrance of Warsaw, Indiana; and four great-grandchildren, Ava, Austin, Jonah, and Alden. She is also survived by extended family members and many friends.

The Lowrance family would like to thank Ms. Billie’s friends, neighbors, and church family for helping care for her. Their support made it possible for her to live independently for many years.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Antioch General Baptist Church in Rushing, Arkansas. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m., with Brother Dylan Stewart and Brother Roy Dale Clark officiating. Interment will take place at Fox Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
