White River Health will no longer be an in-network provider for Aetna Medicare Advantage plans beginning Jan. 31, 2026, the health system announced Monday.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page, White River Health said the decision comes despite “extensive efforts” to remain in network. The change applies only to Aetna Medicare Advantage plans; Boeing retirees and other select employer-sponsored plans will continue to be accepted.
Hospital officials acknowledged the change may be frustrating for patients and said the organization remains committed to helping patients navigate the transition.
Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment runs from Jan. 1 through March 31. During that time, beneficiaries are allowed to change Medicare Advantage plans.
Patients seeking assistance or information about which Medicare Advantage plans remain in network with White River Health can call 870-262-3222.
