
A Newton County man has died from injuries he suffered last month when a deer struck his motorcycle, Arkansas State Police said.
The victim was identified as Lloyd Dellbert Vaughn, 57, of Parthenon.
According to a state police crash report, the collision occurred Dec. 23 on Arkansas Highway 123 in rural Newton County when a deer entered the roadway and hit Vaughn’s Honda VT500.
Vaughn was transported to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri, where he later died, police said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
