Vicky Joyce Fike, 76, of Batesville, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, in Batesville, Arkansas. Born on October 5, 1949, in Newport, Arkansas, to Ted and Ina (McGee) Hubbard, Vicky lived a life defined by kindness, creativity, and a deep, abiding love for her family and all those fortunate enough to know her.

Vicky was the heart of her home and a nurturing presence wherever she went.  She had a true gift for making others feel cared for and welcomed.  She found joy in sewing, cooking, gardening, reading, listening to music, and spending countless hours crocheting baby blankets and quilting- each stitch a quiet expression of her love. Her baking was legendary among family and friends, especially her homemade sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls and pies, and the peanut brittle and other confections she lovingly prepared every holiday season.

Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her own family through the years she ran a daycare, where she became affectionately known as “Nana”, and later, Grandma to the little ones in her care. She touched many young lives with her abundant affection, patience, fun-loving nature, and unwavering love.

Above all else, Vicky was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her gentle wisdom, quiet strength and selfless love created a legacy that will live on through generations. She was truly one of a kind, and her absence will be deeply felt by all.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ellis (Bobie) Fike; her parents, Ted and Ina Hubbard; her brothers Vaughn, Glenn and B. Ray Hubbard; her sister, Wanda Lee Hubbard; and her son-in-law, Frederick Patterson.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jason Fike (Misty) of Rosie; her daughter, Angela Patterson of Colchester, Vermont; her brother, Jesse A. Hubbard (Cleta) of Desha; her sister, Ann Walls of Southside; her grandchildren, Justin Fike (Allie), Alex Fike (Olivia), Andrew, Julia and Isaac Karlin, John McDoniel (Katie), Tom (Kelsey) Patterson, and Luke (Rachel) Patterson; as well as her great-grandchildren, Marlie McDoniel, Rory Patterson, Brynn Patterson, Braylen Fike, and Elijah Patterson. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

A celebration of Vicky’s life will be held at Maple Springs Baptist Church on January 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Curt Howard officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at the Maple Springs Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are John McDoniel, Andy Williford, Logan Hutchison, Legan Hutchison, Farrel Fike, and Dennis Price.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their condolences and support during this difficult time.
