Obituary: Terri Lee Hilliard Duran

Terri Lee Hilliard Duran of Jacksonville, Arkansas (August 1, 1961 – January 2, 2026) was born to Paul John Hilliard and Pamela E. (Reynolds) Copeland in Bakersfield, California.

Terri had a heart for her community and her faith. She devoted her time to the Lions Club, earning the 2019 Dalstrom Award for her dedication, and volunteered with her church’s Celebrate Recovery ministry. She loved cooking for her church and family, cheering on the Razorbacks at football games, and hosting tailgates full of laughter, friends, and family.

A talented seamstress and quilter, Terri made many beautiful, personalized quilts that brought joy to those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald “Gerry” Duran, her parents, stepfather Earl Copeland and her brother Daniel Hilliard. Terri is survived by her nieces, Jasmine Carpenter (Casey) and her son Ryker Rounds, Megan Hilliard, and Alexis Hilliard; her stepdaughter, Leslie Duran May (Robert) and their children Smyth May (Colleen), Chloe May, and Lillian May; and her stepson, Lynn Duran (Laura).

Graveside services will be conducted by brother Jimmy Leonard on Monday, January 12, at 12:00 pm in Agnos, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main St, NLR, AR 72114).
