Sadye McKenna Calhoun of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the age of 31. She was born on September 28, 1994, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of Robyn Calhoun and Jeffrey Clifton.
Sadye graduated from Tuckerman High School and was a beloved member of the Class of 2012. Her friends remember her as vivacious and beautiful, always the life of the party. Sadye had a laugh that could fill a room, and a presence that captivated everyone around her.
As a child growing up in Arkansas, Sadye enjoyed spending time with her family, who doted on her. She was a driven child with a stubborn streak that they knew would carry her through life. She grew up cooking alongside her grandmother, who loved taking the time to teach Sadye how to create delicious Southern meals. Her love of cooking continued throughout her life.
Even though she was a country girl at heart, Sadye still loved the city. She found the hustle and bustle to be invigorating and was excited about the many opportunities that Dallas offered for her to succeed.
Sadye was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eulice and Pauline Calhoun; her uncle, Perry Keith Calhoun; her paternal grandfather, John Clifton, Sr.; and two brothers, Jeffrey “Lil Jay” Clifton and Malik Drummond.
