
Dr. Joe Forney
A cardiologist with more than four decades of experience is now seeing patients at White River Health’s cardiology practice.
Dr. Joe Forney recently joined White River Health Cardiology Annex, where he joins Dr. Baber Khan, an interventional cardiologist, and Dr. Sania Khan. Forney is accepting new patients.
Forney treats various heart conditions and specializes in preventive cardiology, including management of high blood pressure and cholesterol, cardiovascular disease management, cardiac rhythm monitoring, and diagnostic cardiology.
He earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Nebraska. Forney returned to the University of Missouri’s University Medical Center in Columbia to complete a cardiovascular fellowship.
White River Health Cardiology Annex is at 407 Virginia Drive in Batesville. The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. For information or to schedule an appointment, call (870) 793-4200.
