James Leslie Wadkins Jr., 60, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Batesville, AR. He was born on September 23, 1965, in Blytheville, AR, to the late James Leslie Wadkins Sr. and Alice Marie (Laire) Wadkins. James loved to cook and take care of the yard. He enjoyed going camping and on fishing trips. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.
James is survived by his sons, James Leslie Wadkins III and Jimmy Wadkins; daughter, Jamie Wadkins; brothers, Dennis Wadkins and Ernie Wadkins; sisters, Tammy Whittle and Ida Deichman; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
